Work ProcessRinse the tooth gently, avoid touching the root, and try placing it back in the socket. If that’s not possible, store it in milk and seek immediate dental care.
A dental emergency includes severe tooth pain, knocked-out or broken teeth, infections, or uncontrollable bleeding.
Rinse your mouth with warm salt water, take over-the-counter pain relievers, and apply a cold compress to reduce swelling until you see a dentist.
If a crown or filling falls out, keep the area clean and avoid chewing on that side. Contact your dentist as soon as possible for a replacement.
While ERs can provide pain relief and antibiotics, they may not be able to perform dental procedures. It's best to contact your dentist for urgent dental care.
Maintain good oral hygiene, wear a mouthguard during sports, avoid chewing hard objects, and schedule regular dental checkups.
